SCRIPTURE I

"As the path went ever downwards, leading me through curated arrangements of broken branches, moss covered stones with strange markings towering over sunken steps, I felt an unidentifiable grief within my heart.

Orchestrated by silent whispers of the western winds, still there was nothing else to do but to travel on.
As if Death himself, with his black wings extended towards the lunar pathways, lured over my unsignificant body through these gigantic pine-trees, a weight was placed upon my shoulders.
With every step closer to the source of sorrow, my mind swept more and more into a surreal dream flooded by purple fog. This soil was not, this soil could and never would be.

The bounds of imagination felt limitless here.
Wandering alone but with company….. someone is always close by."

A lot of these synth based genres that have been popping up in Metal subculture has been unique to say the least, however not many of the projects seem to do their subgenres justice in creating a truly good sound that isn't just a cute gimmick. This is one of the few times, where I feel some songwriting chops exist. The atmosphere created evokes the soundtracks from gritty 80s Fantasy movies. 3.5/5 ClassyMusicSnob
